I taught myself some principles of photobashing and I used sketchfab ALOT instead of photos since it was way easier to get correct shapes in perspective. I learn that pros do the same so I feel very good about that lol

I been using 3D and sketchfab for ages and I noticed other artists using it for photobashing purposes is very vindicating for me lol

hey, great video! really helpful! I have a question. Is it breaking copywrite laws to use other peoples 3d models (body sculpts, cloth etc..) as photobashing material for your own pieces? Just asking so I dont break any rules when I start working. thank you!

My friend introduced me today to Mike's work. It is a tragedy that he will not have the chance to continue, but it is a great blessing that he has left so much creativity, inspiration, transparency and motivation for other artists to see and love. Truly sad when life ends too early. This is a touching tribute.

i have been working in the industry for about now a yeaand half and unfortunately I have had to character design, prop design, env and call out designs, To be honest I went in thinking that drawing was the only skill I needed and even though I am not a art student, my graphic design background helped. Now the bummer or when reality hit me and Hit me really hard is when I saw the amount of designs that you have to produce in a day, by the week and after 2 3 months . This video is almost a miracle and a manual of how to do things, One Advice I would give any young oncept artist who is interested in a career of concept art and design, learn to work fast and these techniques by jarold are literally cheats that will make you keep your job, If you want to draw and paint everything from scratch, you can do that but most likely you will get burned out, hold up production and eventually someone else will be hired.
